Good morning everyone! This is my first blog post ever so if it is terrible I apologize. Middle of January and I am trying to stay motivated. Not in a toxic positivity way but in a I just stopped drinking (61 days) and I need something to distract myself from the fact that I want to drink. We are planning on posting our first videos some time next week and I am really excited. The idea for the website came from Trish and I wanting to do a workshop where I teach people how to do some basic knitting and Trish teaches a yoga class. Both knitting and yoga help with anxiety and are inexpensive and easy to do at home. So if you are looking for something new to deal with the uncertainty and craziness of the times we are here to offer some support. Since in-person workshops aren’t exactly the safest the virtual approach seemed like a good way to get things up and running. I am someone who has trouble sticking with things but over the years I have found yoga to be something I can leave and come back to easily because you can adjust the level every time. I also love practicing with Trish because her approach is athletic and fun so it keeps me motivated. For my knitters out there I am currently going hat crazy but also have some blankets going…I will post some more WIP’s on Instagram shortly. I am by no means an expert at knitting but I can get you to a place where you can make a hat or a scarf or even a baby blanket! Trish is actually a badass Yoga instructor so she can help you advance your practice if that’s what your looking for. But don’t worry, I fall all the time and am definitely not putting my legs behind my head any time soon. We are just starting out so let us know what you are interested in and what might help.
